Delivery for Online Purchases

How Much Does Delivery Cost?

  • We deliver directly to your home or office anywhere in South Africa.
  • The final delivery cost is calculated during the checkout process based on your delivery address.
  • Delivery for online orders of R3999 or more is FREE! No promo code needed; the discount is automatically applied at checkout.
  • For orders below R3999, delivery charges are calculated based on your location.
  • We do not deliver outside of South Africa. You can arrange to collect from one of our stores.
  • For purchases made in stores, please contact your nearest store to find out the applicable delivery fee for your area. Store locations and contact details can be found here.
  • Click and Collect options are available. Please refer to our Click and Collect FAQ for more information.

How Long Will My Delivery Take?

  • Estimated delivery times vary by region:
    • Cape Town (Central): 1-3 working days
    • Johannesburg (Central), Durban (Central), Port Elizabeth (Central): 3-7 working days
    • Regional areas: 5-9 working days
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors like peak periods or delivery partner schedules. Please note that working days are Mondays to Fridays, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  • For EFT/Bank Deposits, delivery only occurs once full payment is reflected in our bank account, which can take up to 3 working days.
  • Click and Collect options are available at our multiple Decollect points around the country. For more information, please see our Click and Collect FAQ.
  • We do not deliver internationally. You can arrange to collect from one of our stores. Store locations and contact details can be found here.

Free Delivery Promotion

  • Free delivery applies to online orders of R3999 or more.
  • The threshold for free delivery is calculated after any promotions and discounts are applied and does not include assembly fees.
  • Should your area not be easily accessible or not within the free delivery range, we will contact you to advise if a delivery fee applies. If you do not wish to pay this fee, you may cancel your order for a refund, provided it has not already been processed and dispatched.
  • Free delivery promotion orders will be dispatched as soon as payment is reflected, and we will not hold stock for more than 7 working days.
  • In case you need to enter a coupon code for the free delivery promotion, ensure to do so correctly at checkout. We will not issue refunds for errors made during checkout.

Product Assembly

  • Many products are delivered unassembled. Assembly instructions are provided.
  • If you require assembly, select assembly at checkout, and an assembly fee will be added to your cart.
  • Assembly fees are charged per item. For example, if you buy 6 items, the total assembly fee will be 6 times the price displayed.
  • Assembly is done by our delivery partners at the delivery address due to damage and space restrictions.
  • If assembly is not available in the delivery area, the assembly option will not appear at checkout.
  • For post-delivery assembly requests, contact us to arrange it if available in your area; additional delivery and assembly charges will apply.
  • We will not refund customers who were unaware that products were delivered unassembled.
  • If damage occurs during customer assembly, Decofurn Furniture will not be liable for returns or refunds.

Delivery for Purchases Made at Any Decofurn Furniture Store

  • All our stores offer a delivery service. Contact your nearest store for the applicable delivery fee to your area. Store locations and contact details can be found here.
  • In-store purchase deliveries take 1-3 days from purchase if the store has stock and payment is received. Peak periods may extend delivery times.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is not accepted.
  • For EFT/Bank Deposits, delivery occurs once full payment is reflected in our bank account.
  • Our delivery service is optional; you can arrange your own transport for in-store purchases. However, using Decofurn Furniture accredited drivers is highly advisable to avoid liability for damages caused by third parties.
  • Many products are delivered unassembled. Assembly instructions are provided, and our drivers can assemble for a nominal fee. Contact your nearest branch for assembly fees.

General Notes

  • Ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout to avoid additional charges.
  • We require an exact physical address and do not deliver to locations such as farms or gravel roads.
  • Collections are available at certain stores; see our Click and Collect FAQ for more information.
  • If our courier company does not service your area, we will contact you to arrange alternative delivery or a refund.
  • Some mattresses, base sets, and selected products may require additional manufacturing time. This will be stated on the product page, and the order will only be shipped once all items are ready for delivery.
  • For payment via EFT / Bank Deposits, delivery only takes place once the full payment amount has been reflected in our bank account. This can take up to 3 working days – no exceptions to this rule will be made.
  • Once your order has been processed, you will be contacted to advise when delivery will take place. Due to the nature and size of our products, it makes it difficult for us to give a definitive delivery time.
