Indoor Wood & Veneer Furniture

Most of our wooden products are hand-made. They may contain imperfections & natural distress in the wood. This adds to the rustic charm of the product.

Wooden furniture requires regular care
Avoid placing wooden furniture in direct sunlight, this will damage the wood by causing it to fade and dry out overtime
Water can cause permanent swelling and stain damage
After using a damp cloth, wipe the surface dry with a soft, non-abrasive cloth in the direction of the wood grain
Avoid placing hot objects directly onto the surface – make use of coasters, trays, saucers, placemats etc

Polyurethane (PU) / Bonded Leather Furniture

Keep furniture away from direct sunlight, this will cause the PU / Leather to fade making it more susceptible to cracks and tears
Dust often with a soft, non-abrasive cloth/duster. The non-abrasive damp may be slightly damp. Avoid a soaking wet cloth. Do not scrub, simply wipe gently with clean water
Avoid using any abrasive detergents and products that contain ammonia, any cleaning products not designed for PU / Leather will cause damage.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any excess dust that gradually builds up in crevices and under the cushions
Wrinkles will naturally develop as you settle into the new product. To keep wrinkles to a minimum, puff regularly. Please bear in mind these wrinkles are a normal part of the maturing of an upholstered piece of furniture

Fabric / Microfibre / Cotton Furniture

Avoid placing furniture in direct sunlight, this will cause fading overtime an make it more vulnerable to tears
Use a vacuum cleaner often to remove any excess dust that gradually builds up in crevices and under the cushions
In the event of liquid damage or stains, immediately remove the spill using a soft, non-abrasive cloth by wiping in a circular direction. Make sure that the cloth is clean. Never scrub the spill abrasively

Woven / Indonesian Furniture

All woven items are recommended for indoor/undercover patio use ONLY
Exposing these items to weather elements will cause damage
A soft bristle brush can be used to remove any dust
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any excess dust that gradually builds up between the weaves

Polypropylene Furniture

Polypropylene is suitable for indoor and patio use. For patio use, do not expose to heat for long periods of time
It is water resistant and hardwearing
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to remove dust. A damp with mild detergents may be used
Avoid using any abrasive detergents and products that contain ammonia

Polycarbonate / Metal Furniture

Suitable for indoor use only
Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to remove dust. A damp with mild detergents may be used
Avoid using any abrasive detergents and products that contain ammonia

Duvets, Pillows & Mattress Protectors

It is important to take proper care of your duvets & pillows in order to prolong their lifespan

Follow the care instructions on the product label
Air items regularly
Hand wash only
For pillows, it is recommended that a pillow protector is used to extend the lifespan
For duvets, always use a duvet cover

Outdoor Teak Furniture

All our teak furniture is sourced from sustainable rainforest in Southeast Asia

Teak is a hardwood and is suitable for outdoor use. Although our teak products are finished with a protective exterior, regular care and maintenance is required
Continued exposure to the weather elements such as rain and direct sunlight can create a greyish look. Apply teak oil to maintain the look and reapply when necessary
It is recommended that outdoor furniture is stored inside or undercover during the rainy season in order to prevent damage
